• Canvas: A newly introduced object that allows users to script custom widgets with full multitouch support. Inspired by HTML5 Canvas elements, this feature enables the creation of vector-based widgets complete with shapes, animations, shadows, and transparency. Users are no longer confined to built-in widgets; they can now design fully customized controls tailored to their projects.
• Image Widget: This addition lets users incorporate custom PNG images directly into projects. The Image widget is ideal for adding intricate graphics, logos, or custom button icons that may be difficult to create using vector code in Canvas.
• Sequencer Features: Version 5.0 introduces a series of new sequencing tools consisting of StepNote, StepSwitch, and StepSlider objects. Designed for immediate use, these features employ a new "On Clock" execution mode for high-precision synchronization with external MIDI clocks.
• In-App Editor (iPad Only): Users can now edit projects directly within the app. This update makes nearly all desktop editor functions available through an intuitive interface on iOS devices, providing a user-friendly experience that reduces the learning curve considerably.
• Skins: Lemur now offers three new skins in addition to its classic design, allowing users to choose a visual style that resonates with their creativity.
